No More Plastic Bags

Beginning Earth Day, April 22, Earth Fare, the healthy supermarket, will “CUT THE BAG HABIT” by eliminating the use of plastic grocery bags at checkout stands in each of its locations.   2. Congratulations for eliminating plastic bags! Perhaps you can put large signage up infront of the store to remind us to bring in our resuable bags? I always have them in my car, but don’t always remember to bring them in.

  3. “No more plastic bags” is NOT impressive if you still provide paper bags, which require very large amounts of (usually non-renewable) energy to make, even when made from recycled paper. How about “no disposable bags, period”? That would be a real step forward.
