…and shame on people who are buying a 49 cent peice of chocolate to use the coupons. At least but something meaningful to get your free stuff! I can’t imagine any business being able to continue such wonderful offers when they are giving away an $11 bag of coffee and a $4 box of granola to people that are only spending 49 cents.

Brenda – Absolutely! We just ask that they sign up and are receiving the coupons themselves if they are going to use them. Thanks for your support – Jack

I for one am very apprechiative of Earth Fare for their coupons and willingness to accept manufacturer coupons for items in their store. I am new to shopping at Earth Fare and have only been getting the email for about a month now, but have loved the coupons and sales there.
It saddens me that people are so dishonest that they would take advantage of any store or business that is trying to offer rewards to shoppers. It takes the fun out of it for everyone!
Thanks Earth Fare for your great coupons and newsletter information!

That’s incredibly sad. I really do enjoy the coupons – the deals are amazing and for such healthy stuff! I hope these folks don’t spoil it for those who truly value and appreciate the opportunity to save a little while getting a great product!

I love the coupons I get, and really a few bad apples don’t end up ruining these deals for the rest of us. They’ve really been a great way to get an introduction to just how much better the food is when it’s organic and doesn’t have the junk the stuff in the regular store has in it.

Many online coupons regulate how many coupons can be printed per IP address. Perhaps Earthfare should look into that to prevent some of the abuse.
Also, do you mean the intentions of the coupon is to be one per customer or one per customer per day.
BTW: I really love the coupons! You guys have great food and I love coming into the store.

@Rebecca, While I understand your position – if Earthfare had a concern about the amount of money spent on the “required purchase” they would indicate it on the coupon. There have been coupons that require a minimum purchase or certain item.

#1 when a coupon says GET THIS FREE WITH A $10. purchase i do so.
WHen a coupon says BUY A AND B TO GET C FREE i do so.
When a coupon says MAKE ANY PURCHASE AND GET A AND B FREE i do so..
I did not write the coupon. I am merely the redeemer of it.
I am a somewhat regular earthfare shopper and often pick up things for my wife, 2 married daughters andtheir families,or mothernlaw. So i felt no big problem at all getting 2 bags of coffee and 2 boxes of granola, and then on another trip getting 2 bags of potaotoes.FYI 3localstores had their organic russet potatoes on sala at a fair price and buy 1 get 1 free.

I am signed up for the emails. I didn’t realize it was abuse when I told my friend about the deal I got and wrote down the plu # for her. Also, I went back a 2nd time to shop 3 days later and it still had not expired, so I used it again. I apologize for that. I was assuming that it worked like other super market deals where it is one deal per customer per visit. I will definitely tell my friends to sign up if they want to get them and to use them once. I appreciate these deals and coupons and couldn’t shop there if you didn’t have them. Feeding a family of 6 is not easy.

I simply love Earthfare. On the coupons, if we did not share the specials, then how would our friends, some who don’t even know how WONDERFUL Earthfare is, know about the deals? You tell us to share on “Twitter”. So I take that as GET THE WORD OUT. The BEST way of advertising is word of mouth. That’s how I got hooked on the healthy life style. I have shared this website with several friends and family members. Stephanie, I agree with you! You are NOT abusing the deals as long as you’re making purchases. I am sure Earthfare wants your business and would rather you come in 2-3 times a week to use a coupon rather than shop up the street at the local grocery store. I have had a friend print out her coupon and I used it for her because she couldn’t get to Augusta the week they were giving away the 3 lbs. of apples. What’s the deal if you are purchasing the $5 amount that the coupon is for. It made it possible for my friend to get her milk and FREE apples. I THANK Earthfare for making such wonderful deals for large families who are trying to budget. THANKS again from a faithful customer!!! Earthfare, Columbia Sheriff dept. moms and Waynesboro moms love you all!
